My first equine experience was when I was about 11 years old. As I was flying through the air, having been rapidly ejected from the pony’s (bare) back, a career involving horses was not something that crossed my mind…

Horses have, however, always intrigued me and I have been photographing them for many years. Watching a horse with its owner, witnessing their wonderful, deep bond, is a pretty amazing thing and a privilege.

That bond, which is unique to each pony or horse and their rider, is often caught in a moment, a split second, a ‘look’ between them. That is what I want to capture for you, so those moments that are in your memory, can be backed up by a tangible print. To be precise, an archive quality print, that will stand the test of time and can be enjoyed and treasured forever.

In today’s digital world, prints may seem unfashionable, but I disagree. To walk past a picture in your home, every day, particularly one that is personal to you and your family, is a positive joy, even if you don’t stop and consciously look at it every time you pass.
